QIM App Expansion and QIM Manual Updates

Major Update of the Mobile App

The second version of the mobile app has quadrupled the number of fish species that can be evaluated. This update strengthens the app’s role as a professional tool for estimating freshness and remaining shelf life using the Quality Index Method.

The first release supported only a limited number of species. The updated version now covers many of the most relevant fish and shrimp products traded on the European market.

Key Advantages for Users

  • Rapid shelf-life estimation
  • Easy documentation with photos and comments
  • Transfer of results into internal quality systems
  • Suitable for professionals and informed consumers

The app is available in eleven languages and has been downloaded in more than fifty countries since its initial release. It is free to use on compatible mobile devices.
